Slide-Lok of Phoenix Partners with National Association of Professional Organizers for Phoenix Area Charity Event

Slide-Lok of Phoenix donates garage organization products and installation services to support NAPO charity in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ – February 25, 2008 – Slide-Lok of Phoenix announces its participation in a NAPO sponsored charity event in Phoenix to benefit a low income family that needs home organization products.

Slide-Lok has partnered with NAPO, the National Association of Professional Organizers, to help a local Phoenix family. NAPO, a not-for-profit professional association, has been active since 1985. The association helps to develop and promote companies in the organization industry.

Once a year, NAPO reviews families in the local Phoenix community that are in need of assistance with home organization. The family chosen this year has been very active in giving back to their community despite the hardships they have endured. Slide-Lok of Phoenix, the local Slide-Lok Master Dealership, has donated garage cabinets, a countertop workspace, overhead storage racks and installation services, to support NAPO in its mission to provide home organization to improve the life of this deserving family.

Jennifer Furrier, owner of Essential Organizing and member of NAPO, expressed, "This year's event was beyond successful. Thanks to the magic of Slide-Lok's products and services, this family received a complete garage transformation and new shelving in all of their closets to enable easy access and increased storage. The family will be enjoying a refreshed, efficient space for years to come!"

Matt Thomas, Closet Division Sales Manager for Slide-Lok, stated, "We wanted to be a good corporate citizen and to help support local charitable activities such as the current project with NAPO." Thomas added, "Slide-Lok has a formal program called the 'Good Corporate Citizen and Charity Credit', which encourages its Master Dealers to participate in charitable activities in their local communities. This program helps subsidize a portion of Slide-Lok products that are used for charitable purposes in a Master Dealer's local community."

During the transformation of the family's home, Matt Thomas also contributed his own personal time and effort in helping the family reorganize and rearrange everything from toys to couches; a special thanks goes out to him for being so "hands on" with this project.
