Scottsdale, AZ — Local coatings contractor recently refinished multiple driveways in the Colonia Encantada subdivision. After more than 40 years since being built this subdivision is starting to show its age. The planned community once featured vibrant stained decorative concrete driveways. Unfortunately, after more than 40 years of brutal Arizona sun, most of the colored concrete surfaces have faded. This is where our coatings contractor came into the picture. They worked with the Colonia Encantada homeowners association (HOA) to approve a custom color concrete coating for use on all the concrete driveways within the subdivision. This ensured the HOA was happy with the color and the homeowners could once again enjoy the vibrant colonial styled colors of this planned community.

These Arizona homeowners were ecstatic when they were able to update their faded driveway with an HOA approved driveway coating. The new polyaspartic coating revitalized their aging driveway and boosted their home's curb appeal. The floor coating contractor installed a 3-coat polyaspartic garage floor coating on their driveway. The polyaspartic was chosen for its superior UV resistance to resist yellowing and ambering under the harsh Arizona sun. The polyaspartic coating also ensured that the coating contractor was only on the job for 1-day and the homeowners were able to drive back onto their driveway 24 hours later!

Although our local contractor only spent a day on each driveway, they paid great attention to detail during the applications. This included preparing the concrete surface for the new coating, abrading the concrete, and filling in cracks to ensure a clean looking smooth surface. The homeowners were also excited to learn that the installers broadcast an anti-slip additive on the driveway, helping them feel safer during the wet monsoon season.
