Yes, our standard size for chips and flakes are 55 lb boxes. However, for those seeking chips and flakes in lesser quantities - we can accommodate you too.

After many requests for smaller quantities of chips and flakes we are excited to announce that we can offer 1, 2 and 3.5-gallon buckets of chips and flakes. Bucket / pail quantities of chips and flakes are available in the 16 blends we currently stock (available chip and flake blends). Custom chip and flake blends are only available in full box quantities, contact us for more information.

Standard 55 lb. Chip and Flake Boxes

We keep 16 chip blends in 1/4" in stock and ready to ship from our warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona. In addition to the 16 stock blends we also offer custom chip and flake blends, allowing us to offer you unlimited flooring color options. Keep in mind the lead time for custom chips has changed.

As one of the largest consumers of decorative flooring chips and flakes in North America, we are able to offer among the lowest prices in the industry without sacrificing quality or quantity. Chips and Flakes are stocked in 55 pound boxes. We've offered the same 55 lb. (55#) boxes for over 15 years.

Decorative Flooring Chips & Flakes In Coatings

Decorative chips and flakes have been used in floor coatings for decades. Their science has been perfected and work tremendously well in our epoxy and polyaspartic floor coating systems.

Our high performance coating systems have been tested extensively with our chips and flakes to ensure long lasting floor systems. Be warned though, not all chips and flakes are created equally. Lower quality decorative chips and flakes can bleed/leach color into the coating matrix, discolor / yellow, and offer poor adhesion to the substrate and coating systems.

High Quality & Batch To Batch Consistency

Our relationship with our chips and flakes manufacturer is stronger than anyone else's in the industry. This long lasting relationship has afforded us excellent quality control and batch to batch consistency of our chips and flakes. We have customers that have found old boxes in their inventories dating back to 2005 that match today's blends perfectly. We do not believe another manufacturer with this high degree of quality and consistency exists. It's not uncommon for other manufacturers to have inconsistent blends and colors that do not match month to month.
