Torginol Acquired Chips Unlimited

As many of you know, Chips Unlimited was acquired by Torginol in late 2025, resulting in the eventual closure of the Chips Unlimited product line. Over the past six months, we have been working extensively behind the scenes to evaluate, match, refine, and reorganize our entire color blend program to ensure continued support for existing customers while improving our overall offering moving forward.

Our goal throughout this process was simple: preserve the appearance and identity of the blends our customers know and trust while creating a more streamlined and comprehensive color program. We have recreated legacy blends wherever possible, developed formulas for future matching and repair work, consolidated overlapping colors, introduced several new blends, and expanded our offering into a more organized collection-based system.

Moving forward, we will continue supporting both legacy and current projects. We still maintain inventory of many original Chips Unlimited ("White Box") materials while supplies last, and we have now begun stocking our new Torginol-based ("Brown Box") inventory for immediate shipment. We will continue to communicate inventory availability and matching options as materials transition over time.

In response to contractor feedback, our standard stocked flake size moving forward will be 3/16", providing a closer visual match to the historical Chips Unlimited appearance. Many installers have found larger 1/4" flakes create increased spacing between chips, allowing more base coat to show through. Our decision to stock 3/16" material helps maintain the overall aesthetic many customers have come to expect.

New - 40 LB Boxes In Stock

We are fully stocked and ready to support both current and upcoming projects. To support the launch of our new Signature Blend program, we recently received an additional 20 pallets (960 boxes) of chips and flakes, ensuring strong inventory levels across our core offering. In addition to our new inventory, we continue to maintain various quantities of legacy Chips Unlimited ("White Box") materials. Availability of legacy blends will vary by color, so we encourage customers to contact us for current stock levels, matching options, and project-specific recommendations.

The transition to 40 lb. packaging also provides additional freight efficiencies, helping improve shipping economics and making smaller orders more competitive to ship via standard ground service.
