Another Scientist In The Family!

Science and Engineering Degree

We're A Family of Scientists & Engineers

Last year, my oldest son graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. And next month, my second boy will become yet another member of the family to graduate in science and engineering, as he collects his B.S. from ASU in Chemical Engineering. In the picture above, Jacob is presenting his senior project at ASU on a design for a facility which would capture carbon from the atmosphere and safely store it underground. Later this summer, he will be heading to Columbus, Ohio, and The Ohio State University, where he will begin his PhD studies in Chemical Engineering.

STEM - Science and Engineering For The Future

I've always been passionate about science and engineering, the new age term for this is STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). I'm so proud that my two oldest boys are within the STEM field. STEM is the future, it will revolutionize and drive innovation in every industry across the globe. Just as Uber has changed the Taxi and ride hailing industry, be prepared for the day new technology and innovations come to our industry. In particular, 3D Concrete Printing and AI (artificial intelligence) house building robots are coming, read about that in my recent post on NASA at the World of Concrete.
